Steve Coleman is a critically acclaimed international performer and one of America’s greatest ambassadors for jazz worldwide. Steve has performed with Michael Brecker, Jack DeJohnette, Branford Marsalis, Dizzy Gillespie, Wynton Marsalis, Sting, Bobby McFerrin and Sarah Vaughn, to name a few. Steve travels and performs around the world, and his non-profit organization, M-Base Concepts, provides educational outreach to young people. In 2014 Steve was named a MacArthur Fellow, which has enabled him to carry on his mission.
